This is the starter forged set I point people to when they don't need a santoku and a boning knife on day one. You get the four knives that do most of the work — paring, utility, 8" chef, bread — plus a steel and take-apart shears, in a 16-slot maple block. ICE handles are that grey/white acrylic, so they wipe clean and don't swell. Same 4116 German steel, same 58 HRC, same Massachusetts finish as the bigger Lamson blocks.
