The Kai N5100C is the curved-tip version of Kai's 4" needlecraft scissor from the 5000 Series. The hardened stainless steel blades curve up at the tips, so you can clip stitches flush with the fabric without poking into it. It weighs just 0.3 oz.
Kai recommends it for clipping jump stitches in machine embroidery and lettering, machine quilting, beadwork and fly tying, and for trimming stabilizer off the back of embroidery and appliqué. For straight tips in the same size, choose the N5100.
